Al Ain University has a policy of improving equipment with low energy consumption in general in the university, and proposes energy efficiency measures: projects where effective consumption is made and that mitigate the consumption of electrical energy. 

AAU have installed LED lights and less energy consuming equipment to effectively use and also limit the usage of electricity. The below table illustrates about the products and the consumptions in detail.

• More than 80% of our lighting appliances have LED technology.

• All of our air conditioners have inverter technology that provides the opportunity to use energy more efficiently.

• More than 90% of our desktop PCs in PC use are all-in-one and LED display.

• Thanks to the large windows, central courtyards and ceiling lights, maximum benefit from daylight is taken.
