Al Ain University has introduced, since 2018, a new eco-friendly transportation service for students to assist in their mobility between buildings and various sections within the university campus. The Department of Student Affairs agreed with a company to provide this service to all students who require this service. 

A zero-emissions vehicle, or ZEV, is a vehicle that never emits exhaust gas from the onboard source of power, The AAU encourages students to travel by the campus shuttle service to reduce carbon emission.
