An effective recycling program in Al Ain University focuses on reducing waste, reusing useful materials and recycling them by converting waste materials into new materials like paper, towels, water bottles…. etc.

A large amount of trash is produced on a daily basis and insure that the amount of trash that ends up in landfills is reduced, and that recyclable items are turned into new products.

The university has an agreement with the Waste Management Company to transport all types of general waste.

There are inorganic waste collectors such as electronic material waste units and battery waste collection boxes in suitable places on campus.
